"Please sickness go away"

Oh my goodness I got over this cold/allergies/whatever weeks ago and now it's back. WHY?????? I guess it was a blessing I had pretty much gotten over IT right before Jason came home and now he just left yesterday and it's back..... I just want to be able to quit sniffling and not being able to breath right. Oh well I am thankful for my great kids. Jordan hung out with me after work we watched a movie and Josh cooked dinner. Poor Zack doesn't feel well, and he still is such a sweetie. I love them.

"Lunch with Jennifer"

Today I met one of my best friends for lunch today. Jennifer and I have known each other since kindergarten. She lives in St. Louis and was down for the holidays. It was so nice to catch up it was like we hadn't missed a beat we hadn't seen each other in many years. We actually reconnected on FaceBook. It's so awesome to have friendships that last over time. And to have friends who don't judge and just love you no matter what. Who can laugh and cry with you during the same conversation and who have memory lapse just like you do. Thanks Jennifer for a wonderful lunch and for great conversation, hope to see you soon I'll be talking to you on facebook. Love ya...

"A SAD DAY"

Jason had to go back to California to work :(.... We had him home for 13 wonderful days. This is the longest he's gotten to stay home for almost a year. Don't get me wrong we feel very blessed that he has a job but it's really hard to not have him around. Before he left he put sticky notes with "I LUV U" on them all over the house. We had said our goodbyes and I left alittle before him to go have lunch with a good friend of mine my best friend I've know since kindergarten. When I got home I started finding the notes all over and a sweet note on the mirror. I called to see how the trip was going(Jason was driving back to Cali.)and to tell him thank you for my notes. I have found 25 and Jason told me there are 50 to find, can't wait to find them all. I love my sweet wonderful loving husband. And I'm thankful for all he does for our family. I love you Jason Stevens.....

" 2010 "

WoW I can't believe it's a new year. Well here are some of this years upcoming crazy, can't believe it's possible events: Febuary 9th my oldest son Josh will be 22, March 13 I wll be 41,yeah that's rght I will be inmy forty's crazy.June 5 Jamie are amazing daughter in-law will be 22, June 10 it will be 24 years together for me and my super awesome Hubby, June 20 it will be 23 years of marital bliss ( I love my man ) July 8 our son Zack will be 19 oh my gosh so crazy, August 14 our baby and only daughter will be 18 "WHAT" that can't be possible. October 13 Josh and Jamie will celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary. December 11 Jason will celebrate his 42 birthday. I know there will be many more events to celebrate and write about and I can't wait for what this new year will bring. I hope and pray for good things and fun times.

Jamie's Accident (April 6th)

Jamie our daughter-in-law was in a car accident it happened right on 59th and Cholla, just right around the corner. She blacked out when she was driving. She ended up breaking her Femur and got banged up a bit. She is doing really well and healing. She is going to be getting her hair salon ready, she wants to get back to work. We are so thankful she is doing better. We just love our Jamie Lynn.

April 11 Our Easter at Grandma Ruths

We got together for our Easter celebration even though it was a rainy day. It was nice to see everyone, the kids had fun hunting for eggs in the rain. I took my friends little girl Eve. It was sad that our grandma wasn't able to be there with us or our Aunt Sandy. I'm so thankful for our wonderful family.

March 13 I'm 40

Well I turned the Big 40. It seems strange I don't feel any older and definitely I don't feel any wiser but hey it's here I'm just going to embrace it.

My first born turns 21 Joshua David,I love you Squishy

My sweet Squishy is 21, wow so crazy. Joshua was born on Febuary 9,1988. He was 9lbs 12oz. 21&1/2 inches long. What a sweet and loving little angel. He was so much fun growing up he was always laughing and loving everyone and boy was he a talker. I remember once my mom was watching josh and he talked and talked until my mom fell asleep. She was sitting beside Josh on the couch she only dosed for a minute and when she opened her eyes he was staring up at her and when he saw her eyes open he just continued talking. He was so funny. He has always been such a great example to his brother and sister. He is a hard worker and does great and any job he has. On October 13,2007 Josh married Jamie Endres. Not only did we gain an awesome daughter inlaw but a fantastic hairdresser. Josh is now working in the film industry, and is loving it, it has been a dream of his forever. Well I just wanted to write alittle something about our wonderful son Joshua David Stevens, We love you and are thankful to be your parents.

Well I have been awful about keeping up with my blog. I'm going to do a quick over view.So here's go.

Breaking and Entering

Saturday morning we (myself,jordan,lora,erin,and mallory) went on a walk. We decided to walk around Ironwoods track. Well it was locked up, so we had the bright idea to just climb over the chain link fence. We did all make it while laughing and I'm sure looking pretty silly. After walking for about an hour it started sprinkling, no big deal it felt good and then it started coming down pretty hard. So we decided to head back to my house. And of course we had to climb back over, so not fun especially with the fence all wet and slippery. We made it over with alot of laughing and a couple of pictures taken. I'll try to get them put on. I love how we have a good time no matter what we are doing. Same time next Saturday. Love you guys

Claire...

I wanted to blog about a new chapter in my life. I was certified by the state to care for special needs individuals. How this all came about. My sisters and I met Karlee (Claire's mom) at a craftshow. Our friend Leann introduced us and we realized we had met her at a craftshow prior to this one. We all really hit it off. As we got to know Karlee we learned about her sweet daughter Claire. Claire has PKS (Pallister- Killian Syndrome) which is a chromosome abnormality, when a tetrasomy of the short arm of chromosome 12 (12p) occurs for no know reason. Clair is 12 years old. She is such a sweet girl to be around. I think we hit it off right away, I've only been around her a few times so far but I'm so loving it. Jordan has gone with me,and she just loves Claire. We play games and watch movies on our next visit we will be doing workbooks together. I'm so blessed to be apart of Claire's life she is a very sweet and special spirit, I know I will learn alot from her and I hope she will learn from me as well. Claire has an 8 year old brother named Jacob he's a real sweet boy. Karlee is an amazing mom she is so patient and loving with her kids, and she runs a business making the cutest bags. I'm looking forward to a great friendship with the whole family. Karlee say's I am a blessing to her and her family what an awsome thing to hear,and I hope she realizes what a blessing this is for me and my family.

My weekend of sewing...

I had a baby shower to go to and decided to make some of the gifts. It was fun I really want to learn more about sewing. Jordan made one of the blankets. Here are some of the pictures.

Hair....

Just wanted to thank Jamie Lynn for being our personal hair dresser. She is so great she came over Sunday and cut Shannon and my hair. She always does a great job. Thank you for always taking out time to make our hair Beautiful. We Love You....

My Sweet Angel

I feel like the luckiest mom. My sweet daughter is so good to me. Today when I got home from work (cleaning),I was prepared to start in on some cleaning of my own. But I walked through the door and the house was spotless Jordan was just finishing up folding some laundry. What an awsome gift she gave to me, time to spend with her instead of cleaning the house. The thing is this is not out of the ordinary, she does this all the time, she is a great cleaner. I love you so much,your always thinking of me (and others) you are such an awsome daughter and I'm so blessed to be your mother. I love you.... Mom

Jordan's curls'

Jordan was bored tonight and decided to try and curl her hair. . .She thinks it doesnt look good but I think it looks cute, and so does Sonja. She wouldnt really let me finish the left side of her hair but what we both managed to finish looks cute.

The Temple

On Saturday January 3,2009 My sister Shannon went through the Temple. I am so happy for her and proud of her example she is setting for all of us. Our mom and Shannon's good friends Deann and Cody went through with her.Jordan,Lora,Erin,Mallory,Rylee,and myself,were there when she came out. She looked so happy and beautiful as always. We took some pictures and talked for a little and then decided we were all starving and wanted to go eat. We all went and ate at El Charros, Mexican food of course. It was really good and we had a great time visiting. I just love spending time with all us girls. We all love you Shannon.

Thieves Beware. . .Kerry Is Near

Well it all started with me going to the grocery store today. I first went to Safeway for groceries and ran into Dawn and Steve Tiemen they are so great. I get easily distracted from what I should be doing. So after my nice conversation with the Tiemens(sorry if I kept u guys to long, I can be a talker) I then checked out and headed home with all our groceries(or so i thought). Once home I start to take out the food to put away and realize I forgot the red chili pods, which was the main reason for going in the first place. Jason was making red chili chicken burritos at my request (He is an awesome cook,and He's so yummy) So any how I had to run back to the grocery store and decided to go to Fry's. As I was going in I was talking on the phone and I noticed these two guys walking towards the exit not thinking anything at first except one of them looked a little shifty eyed. As they were passing me on their way out I realized none of their items were in bags. I ran over to the first cashier and let them know two guys just left without paying for items (a cart full). Two of the workers followed me to the exit. I was showing them where the two guys had gone.They were loading stuff into the back of their truck. They saw the Frys employee walking towards them and jumped in and took off. They didn't get away with much but they didn't get their plates. It was kind of exciting. Well they were so grateful that they gave me a $10 gift card for the store. I told them that wasn't necessary but she said they knew they didn't have to but wanted to. I thought it was very nice. Well I'm glad I forgot the red chili pods so I could know what it feels like to be a SUPER HERO.. Well anyway it was something to blog about. But know that I AM watching...lol

Ringing in the new year....

December 31,2008...New Years Eve. We all gathered at the Swartouts house for game night. There were about 20 of us,Craig,Erin,Seth(for alittle while he left to go the dance) Mallory,Rylee,Noah,Levi,Jason,Kerry,Josh,Jamie,Jordan,Zack,Sonj,Lora,Mom,Julie,Julie's friend (sorry horrible with names)Leann,and Ron. We played catch phrase,pictionary,
and scattergory,and we had alot of yummy snack foods. Its so fun to get together and laugh and be goofy. This was Leann,Ron, and Sonja's first exposure to this many family members at once hopefully we didn't scare them off, cause I know 2009 will be filled with many more.We all stayed up to see the New Year come in. We didn't bang any pots or pans but we did go out side and saw a few fireworks. Here are a couple of pics from our Game Night. Well I hope and pray we will all a fabulous 2009.

Really my last post for 2008... Maybe...

Yes I know I said my last entry was it for the year but oh well,just had to say something to just my sisters Lora(LaLa), Shannon(Bunny),and Erin(Ernie) how much fun I've had this past year with you guys. We have a blast no matter where we go. Our little adventure in crafting has been so fun, Im hoping that Shannon can come around more often this next year. I love each of you had admire you all for different reasons. I know we can drive each other crazy sometimes but I love how we get past it and love each other through it and still stay close. Lets promise to never let anything drive us apart because we are an awesome force. Lets keep our dreams of having our little shop, "A Little Bit of Everything" alive and work together on making it come true.(from My Sassy Sisters and Friends) Stay just the way you are I Love you All and I know we were close sisters in Heaven can you imagine Heavenly Father had his hands full with us and I know we were just as silly and fun he must of really felt love and sympathy for our parents lol.Thank you for excepting, and loving me with my crazyness for being paitence most of the time with my forgetfullness and my personal clock being off by about 30 min. or so,I think we are all very Sassy and we are blessed to have each other.
